Become a Volunteer at the Craigs Aspiring Art Prize

Do you want to support your local school and the national arts community? Have a passion for the arts? Want to mingle with like-minded arts-lovers and meet new people?

Craigs Aspiring Art Prize offers fantastic volunteer opportunities for arts lovers, enthusiasts and students to support the Opening Gala and public Exhibition.

FAQ’s

  • Not at all. Training will be provided for all roles.

  • ‍• Unpacking and organising artworks
    ‍• Hanging artworks
    ‍• Manning the reception desk
    ‍• Processing sold artworks
    ‍• Ticket Scanning
    ‍• Food Prep
    ‍• Hospitality and service areas
    ‍• Admin support
    ‍• Repackaging unsold artworks

  • Roles vary in length but we try our best to keep shifts to around 4 hours max.

  • Absolutely…as long as you’re still ‘on the job’ we encourage everyone to take some time to view the amazing artwork that comes from artists across the motu.
